Our Story
From Pneumatic Controls to Full-Service Provider
Carroll Control Systems was founded in 1998 when Todd Wanninger moved to Carroll and saw a straightforward gap: the region needed a higher standard of commercial mechanical work. He started with pneumatic controls and commercial HVAC — and built from there.
Over the years, CCS has expanded into building automation, commercial water treatment, backflow testing, and full boiler system services. The growth was never about getting bigger for the sake of it. Every service we added came from a real demand we saw in the field and a belief that we could do it at the level our clients expect.
We're proud to be a U.S. Department of Labor-approved apprenticeship company. That means our technicians aren't just trained — they're trained right, through a program recognized at the federal level. It's one of the ways we invest in the people who make this company what it is.
